Their portfolio includes in-house brands such as Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Prada, and licensed brands such as Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Coach, and Michael Kors.
Primary Responsibilities:
Devised innovative construction techniques, incorporated new materials, and generated realistic color CADs, which were used by teams within Luxottica’s licensed brands to determine the SKUs that would be produced for seasonal eyewear collections.
Collaborated with product managers and product strategists to create eyewear designs based on trend reports, licensor requests, manufacturing limitations, and historic sales data.
Conducted research on industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies to inform the design process and ensure that the products remained relevant in the market.
Managed multiple projects simultaneously and delivered high quality work within tight deadlines.
Utilized design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite and SolidWorks, to create 2D and 3D design concepts.
